Garage Band is a collaborative ensemble experience where students learn to perform, create, and grow as musicians in a real band setting. Rather than focusing on a single instrument, students work together to form bands, explore different musical roles, and develop the skills needed to rehearse, perform, and create as a team.
Students are encouraged to explore multiple instruments, collaborate with their peers, arrange music, write original songs, perform favorite covers, and discover a variety of musical styles—including contemporary Christian worship, pop, rock, country, blues, jazz, and more.
Every band develops its own unique identity while learning the value of creativity, leadership, and teamwork.
🎶 Instruments may include keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, vocals, percussion, and more. Students are encouraged to explore multiple instruments as they develop their musical interests.
Every rehearsal emphasizes collaboration, communication, and making music together.
Throughout the year, Garage Band groups will have opportunities to perform during studio concerts, community outreach events, open mic nights, worship services, and other Hatfield Music performances.
These performances celebrate creativity, teamwork, and musical growth in a supportive environment.
At Hatfield Music, we believe music is meant to be created together. Garage Band helps students discover the joy of collaboration while developing confidence, leadership, and meaningful friendships through music.
