
Rhonda Rice Hatfield is a pianist and music educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching and performance. She began piano study at the age of six and was serving as a church pianist by age twelve. Rhonda earned a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she performed with the Wind Symphony, Jazz Lab Band, and Bella Voce women’s choir.
Since 2009, Rhonda has taught private piano lessons to students of all ages and ability levels, offering instruction in piano, music theory, and voice. Her teaching emphasizes creativity, improvisation, and ear training while maintaining strong technical foundations. She is especially passionate about working with students with disabilities and exceptionalities and is committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
Rhonda currently serves as Music Director at Courtney Christian School, is an active church pianist, and is a member of MTNA and LMTA, Northshore Chapter.

Mrs. Dana is an accomplished pianist and experienced music educator with a strong passion for both teaching and performance. She is an active musician who regularly plays for her church, as well as for weddings and funerals, and frequently serves as an accompanist for the Louisiana Music Educators Association (LMEA) Honor Choirs.
Mrs. Dana holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University (2001) and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from Louisiana State University (2004). She has extensive collegiate teaching experience, having taught class piano and private lessons at LSU from 2001–2004, and class piano, applied piano, and piano pedagogy at SLU from 2004–2013.
She has taught private piano lessons since 1997 and is dedicated to providing high-quality, structured instruction in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Alexandria Bowers is a Louisiana-based vocal and music instructor who is dedicated to creating a welcoming and encouraging studio environment for students of all ages. Born and raised in Louisiana, she brings an appreciation for the state’s rich musical traditions into her teaching.
Alexandria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and has completed international opera training in Italy, providing her with a strong technical foundation and broad performance experience. She offers instruction in voice, beginning piano, and music theory, tailoring lessons to meet each student’s individual needs and goals.
Her teaching emphasizes healthy vocal technique, musical confidence, and personal expression, allowing students to grow at their own pace. Alexandria is committed to helping students develop strong skills while fostering a lifelong love for music within a supportive, community-centered setting.

Kenzie Hatfield is a student at Southwest Mississippi Community College, where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education and will graduate with honors in May 2026. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, reflecting her academic achievement and commitment to excellence. Kenzie has a strong passion for working with young children and is dedicated to supporting their learning, creativity, and emotional development.
In addition to her academic studies, Kenzie is actively involved in campus arts and performance programs. She participates in SMCC Stageband and SMCC Choir, for which she has received scholarships, and is a member of the SMCC Color Guard, for which she was awarded a full-tuition scholarship. These experiences have helped her develop creativity, discipline, teamwork, and leadership.
Kenzie is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment and enjoys using music and the arts to encourage confidence and self-expression in young learners.

Jaycee Teague has had a lifelong love for music and grew up in a musical family that encouraged her creative development. She has played guitar for over six years and currently serves as a guitarist on her church’s worship team. Jaycee regularly performs at local restaurants and community events.
In addition to performing, Jaycee enjoys writing and producing music, with a particular focus on acoustic instrumental works. She is a 2024 high school graduate and will attend Southeastern Louisiana University, where she plans to major in Marketing with a minor in Music.
Jaycee has a strong passion for teaching guitar and enjoys helping students discover how music can build confidence, creativity, and personal expression. She is committed to creating an encouraging learning environment where students can grow musically and develop a lasting appreciation for music.

Kelsey Jones began studying violin at the Southeastern Louisiana University Community Music School at the age of ten, first under Ms. Jivka Duke and later with Dr. Victor Correa-Cruz. At fourteen, she joined the Southeastern Symphony Orchestra and began teaching violin and piano from her home studio.
During high school, Kelsey won the Southeastern Community Music School Concerto Competition and performed as a soloist with the SLU Symphony Orchestra. She continued her musical studies under Dr. Correa-Cruz after graduation, performing with the SLU Orchestra as part of a music minor and teaching at the SLU Community Music School.
In 2024, Kelsey earned first place in her age group in the Rapides Concerto Competition and performed a solo with the Rapides Symphony Orchestra. She has also been an active church musician since the age of fifteen, playing violin regularly in worship services.
Brian Martin is a brass instructor with a strong background in performance, jazz studies, and music education. He earned a degree in Music Performance (Jazz Studies) from Southeastern Louisiana University, with an emphasis on brass pedagogy, musicianship, and performance.
Brian has performed in a wide variety of settings, including service as a musician in the United States Marine Corps, and brings years of experience working with students, educators, and school music programs. His teaching focuses on developing solid fundamentals, a strong tone, confidence, and practical skills that students can apply in rehearsals, performances, and auditions.
Known for his encouraging and approachable teaching style, Brian is dedicated to helping students of all levels grow as musicians while developing a lifelong appreciation for music.

Jean Paul Perrault is a clarinet instructor and performance major at Southeastern Louisiana University, where he is pursuing a degree in Clarinet Performance and is expected to graduate in 2028. He is a 2024 graduate of Catholic High School and brings a strong background in both solo and ensemble performance.
Jean Paul has earned numerous performance honors, including selection as a three-time District IV Honor Band member, two-time Stately Oaks Honor Band member, and LMEA All-State Honor Band member. His performance experience also includes participation in the Disney Imagination Campus, marching with Krewe d’État in New Orleans and the Orion Parade in Baton Rouge, and five years of high school marching band.
In addition, Jean Paul has eight years of private lesson experience and has received multiple Superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble festivals. At Southeastern, he has performed with the Wind Symphony, basketball band, and college marching band. He is dedicated to helping students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for music.
